I have used Reddit for 10+ years. After early July 23, my favorite Reddit 3rd party app - Sync for Reddit, was not working anymore. I started to register with Fediverse.
Fediverse helps people to get connected without a single endpoint. Which means that it does not matter if you're registered with any Fediverse website, you can still access the other websites from your own Fediverse. That's the coolest thing about Fediverse for me.
Now, I have my account with Mastodon and Lemmy.world. Even though I don't have anything to say now, I might do it later.
Watching Reddit not listening to their own users seems like a good case study for corporate failure for generations to come.
